Specialising in leadership and developing a high performance culture, Elaine has completed a MSc in Coaching and an Executive MBA, both culminating in the practical application of high performance theory within industry.
Elaine brings extensive coaching experience from the fields of elite sport and education, with a demonstrated passion for bringing out the best in others. In a rugby career spanning nearly 20 years, she was part of the England Women U20’s coaching team at a pivotal time in the game, was one of only a handful of female head coaches in the men’s club game, as well as working as a coach developer. Now as a University Deputy Dean, and Professor in sports education, she is responsible for strategy and innovation, leading change and instigating a coaching culture within the workplace.
A CMI accredited coach, she has been commended by students and coachees alike for her insightful and collaborative, yet challenging, style in supporting others to achieve aspirational outcomes.
