Presenting with impact

An immediate requirement was expressed by a client in the renewables sector which needed to be developed and delivered in a very short amount of time.  

CCL was pleased to be able to respond to this unusual need, and to meet this very tight deadline. The challenge was to support 5 individuals to deliver an effective and persuasive presentation to senior stakeholders in order to gain support for a very important project.  Attendees were initially recorded delivering their presentation to their peers, who gave feedback in this safe environment. Afterward, each individual received professional critique from our CCL specialist. The session provided guidance on the approach to use depending on the target audience, and instruction on how to design a presentation capable of  “touching the nerve” and eliciting immediate buy-in.  An added benefit was the feedback offered to each individual on the strengths and weaknesses of their specific presentation skills.    

Following the session, the presentation to senior stakeholders was delivered with facts, authenticity and charisma. The buy-in was a huge success and the project was authorised. 

The presentation skills these 5 individuals have developed have had an impact far beyond this presentation:  they now have the tools to persuade and present impactfully in any situation. Such was the success of the programme that this training was delivered to other teams within the organisation.
